Here at One on One we are passionate about Group Fitness. We believe that the group environment creates an energy that motivates and makes exercise fun, not a chore. Whether you’re a beginner or someone who wants a more challenging workout, our classes and instructors will help you achieve the results you are looking for!
We are one of the only clubs in the Ann Arbor area to offer internationally known Les Mills group fitness classes. We strive to stay current on the latest group fitness trends so that we can provide cutting edge programs and choreography for our members.
We offer a full group fitness schedule, with classes ranging from 30-60 minutes. All of our classes are led by nationally certified instructors who provide safe, dynamic workouts designed to help you reach your fitness goals!
Barre Intensity: A total body workout using dance, Pilates and personal training. This class is designed to tone and strengthen the abs, arms, seat and legs while focusing on body alignment, balance and improved flexibility. No dance background required. Socks with “no slip” grip required.
Bodycombat™: This fiercely energetic cardiovascular workout is totally non-contact. The program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines, such as Karate, boxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and Muay Thai. Punch and kick your way to fitness and burn up to 740 calories*. Release stress, have a blast and feel like a fighter.
Bodypump™: One of the world’s fastest ways to get in shape as it challenges all of your muscle groups while you squat, press, lift and curl. Use moderate to heavy weights with lots of repetition gives you a total body workout. Instructors will coach you through scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping to great music. You will leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.
Boot Camp: An adrenaline-powered program geared for anyone who wants to change their body. Our instructor will push you past your limits with strength and cardio-conditioning drills designed to increase your overall fitness.
cxworx™: A 30-minute workout dedicated to muscles around the core. A stronger core makes you better at all things you do, from everyday life to your favorite sports. You will work with resistance tubes and weight plates, as well as body weight exercises like crunches and hovers. You will also get into some hip, butt and lower back exercises.
Gentle yoga: A therapeutic and mindful approach to building a strong foundation for your practice. Connecting with the breath we will find ease and balance in each posture with emphasis on both external and internal alignment principles. Modifications are offered to suit all levels. This class is great for beginners and seasoned yogis alike! Join us as we get back to basics, cultivate awareness and ease stress and anxiety.
Kettlebell: A total body workout using two things: a kettlebell and your body. This class will increase your muscular strength and endurance while scorching major calories!
Meditation: Experience a guided meditation session that fosters inner peace and clarity of the mind. Meditation is a simple practice that is scientifically proven to significantly decrease stress and enhance our brain and immune system.
Spinning®: Pedal your way to a fantastic workout indoors! With the use of stationary cycles, each class is complete with a variety of exercises. This class will give you an energizing, calorie-burning, fun workout and it is great for all fitness levels. Each instructor has a different teaching style so try them all!
Sally: A full-body, choreographed ride focusing on endurance. We use moves in and out of the saddle to work all your core muscles and keep you sweating from beginning to end!
Zumba®: Join the party! Zumba is a combination of Latin and Hip Hop dance set to a variety of music. You can burn hundreds of calories with HOT moves. Be ready to sweat in this class!
